The day before my third year of undergraduate officially started, a friend and I traveled two hours south to encounter the 2017 Solar Eclipse along the path of totality. The following image is a composite of multiple phases before, during, and after totality was achieved.
I used a Nikon D3200, 70-200mm lens, and homemade solar filter to photograph the event.
